This 5-day private safari adventure begins and ends in Arusha and takes you through some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations. Over the course of five days, you’ll explore Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. The package includes comfortable accommodation, meals, a private safari vehicle with an expert guide, park entry fees, and more, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable safari experience.
We will pick you up from your hotel, where you’ll meet your guide and chef before beginning the 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes and impressive wildlife. The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees and is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering incredible opportunities to observe their interactions up close.
During your game drive, you’ll explore areas with reported sightings of wildlife, keeping an eye out for predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, while also enjoying the abundance of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras that roam throughout the park.
Around midday, you’ll stop at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy lunch while taking in the scenic views of the river and its wildlife. You may even notice playful monkeys and baboons nearby—though harmless, they often try to get close to visitors.
After your safari adventure, you’ll continue to Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
After breakfast, you will depart from Mto Wa Mbu and drive towards the Serengeti, a journey of about 6 hours including stops as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Covering 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq. mi.), the Serengeti is world-famous for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras, moving together in search of fresh grazing—a remarkable survival strategy.
Your destination today is the Seronera region, located in the heart of the Serengeti. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, enjoy your packed lunch, and then head out on a game drive. This area is known for its rich wildlife concentrations and offers a high chance of spotting predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. If you’re lucky, you may even witness a predator hunting or feeding on a fresh kill.
As the day ends, you’ll experience the breathtaking Serengeti sunset, before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today, you’ll explore the far reaches of the Serengeti, heading north, south, east, or west depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, you’ll set out on a morning game drive, taking advantage of the animals’ peak activity.
After a picnic lunch in the park, the game drive continues into the afternoon and evening, offering further opportunities to spot predators and herbivores in their natural habitat. You’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Seronera, Serengeti National Park
Wake up early at 6:00 AM and enjoy a hot cup of coffee before heading out for a morning game drive in the heart of the Serengeti, accompanied by the stunning sunrise. The early hours can be chilly, so be sure to dress warmly.
You’ll explore the park until midday before returning to the camp for a hearty brunch. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive en route as you travel. You’ll arrive at Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Distance: 210 km
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience. The crater’s year-round water supply and lush grazing areas support a remarkable variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.
Predators are abundant, with lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard providing thrilling sightings for keen observers. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, often hosting flamingos, hippos, and a variety of water birds.
In the late afternoon, you will transfer back to Arusha for either your hotel stay or an airport drop-off.
